Prairie Oyster, will be inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame this September and we are thrilled to have them at the 2nd Annual East Gwillimbury Fall Festival right here in downtown Mount Albert.

The members of Prairie Oyster on stage Saturday will be Keith Glass
on guitar, Russell deClare on vocals and bass, Dennis Delorme on
pedal steel, Joan Besen on keybords, drummer John Adames and fiddler John P. Allen.

Their new album, One Kiss, finds them at the very peak of their form.
With more than 30 years under their well-worn belt, the band has
amassed twelve new songs that is arguably their best work of their
illustrious career.

Grant Fullerton, One of Canada's premiere guitarists, Grant Fullerton began his professional career in the late '60's as a member of the Untouchables (Which was half of another band - The Continentals) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In December 1969 Grant Fullerton joined Skip Prokop and Paul Hoffert in Lighthouse, a 13-piece rock group combining horns, violins, cellos and vibes with the traditional rock and roll instruments of guitar, bass and drums. The band debuted at the Rockpile in Toronto on May 14, 1969.

Fullerton would also go on to play in such low-key acts as Mudflat and Friends before putting together Fullerton Dam with drummer Steve Negus and release one album on Condor Records called 'Breaks' before disbanding.

He also tried his hand with the Madcats who released several records in the late '70's before going solo as Grant Fullerton. The solo stint led to the release of the single "Lenny" and Fullerton put a backing band behind him to tour. The Grant Fullerton band would later get signed to Freedom Records and release several singles from the EP 'My Mind And My Music'.

By the late '80's Fullerton had been recruited to play the lead in the First Choice/CBC movie 'The Vacant Lot' as guitarist and lead vocalist in a fictitious band. By the time the '90's rolled around Fullerton had become tired of the club grind and opened his own bar in Stouffville, Ontario called, simply, Fullerton's.

There he was holding regular jams nights for nearly 10 years. One of these multiple sessions was committed to tape in 1994 and released as an album produced with Klaatu's, Terry Draper and Dee Long called "Fullerton's Celebrity Jam, Volume One'. The sessions featured the contributions of such notable Canadian blues talents as Rick Washbrook (guitar, vocals), Dog Pypher (saxophone), John Dickie (harmonica), and Fullerton Dam member Brad MacDonald (organ& piano).

Bolt Upright

Three talented, seasoned musicians.

Three radically different personalities.

Three completely different musical styles.

One in a million..................

Mark Guldenstein: Lead vocals, lead guitar

15 years of live performance have enabled Mark to craft a truly unique
playing style rooted in a mixture of rock, blues, punk, and country.
As well as being a veteran live musician, he has also worked on
numerous studio projects, and has achieved commercial and college radio play with The Ruins and Spittle. His style, diversity, and
charisma bring an ingredient of refined chaos to Bolt Upright..

David Greer: Bass guitar, backing vocals

Technical savvy and lightning bolt precision combined with an eclectic mix of frenetic energy separate Dave from the rest of the pack. He studied music at Concordia University in Montreal, and has played in many bands in the past including Rick O'Shea, Private Eye's, and Nanogram 17.

Kimio Oki: Drums
